"Lucita" Vásquez creció cerca de la ciudad de San Salvador, El Salvador. Su abuela le enseñó a hacer y cocinar tortillas cuando tenía 6 años. Más tarde se convirtió en la co-propietaria de una pupuseria en la ciudad costera de La Libertad. Unos años más tarde su padre la trajo a los Estados Unidos, donde ha trabajado en muchos restaurantes soñando con ser dueña de un restaurante. Pupuseria Lucita es finalmente su sueño hecho realidad.
"Lucita" Vásquez grew up near the city of San Salvador, El Salvador. Her grandmother taught her how to make and cook tortillas when she was 6 years old. Later, she became the co-owner of a pupuseria in the coastal city of La Libertad. A few years later, her father brought her to the United States, where she has worked in many restaurants dreaming of once again owning a restaurant. Lucita's Pupuseria is finally her dream coming true.
